Meet The Team

Bev

Bev completed her level II Dental Assisting Program from Red River College.  She has been in the dental field for many years starting out as Dr. Yan’s assistant and now as a receptionist.  She has worked with Dr. Yan for over 30 years and still is having fun with no sign of slowing down.

Heather

Heather has worked in the dental field as a receptionist for 14 years.  She joined Whyte Ridge Dental Centre in 2010.  Her pleasant and friendly nature helps put everyone at ease whether they are patients or staff members.  In her spare time, Heather loves watching sports and spending time at the beach in the summer.

Jaimelee

Jaimelee is one of our full time licensed Registered Dental Hygienists (RDH). She has been in the dental field for over 16 years starting first as a phase II dental assistant.  She joined Whyte Ridge Dental in the year 2000.  After taking a leave to start a family, she obtained her Bachelor of Science degree in 2005 and her Diploma in Dental Hygiene in 2009 from the University of Manitoba.  She has also further her education by taking courses in orthodontics and local anaesthetics.  Jaimelee came back to Whyte Ridge Dental as a hygienist in 2010 and is very excited to be part of the team.  In her spare time, Jaimelee loves to spend time with her family and friends.

Janet

Janet is one of our dental assistants at Whyte Ridge Dental Centre.  She graduated from Red River College in 2006 and immediately joined our clinic and as Dr. Yan’s main assistant.  She is known to be energetic and always has a smile on her face.

Lisa

Lisa graduated in 2007 with a diploma in dental hygiene. She moved to Winnipeg from Toronto in 2008 and has been at Whyte Ridge Dental since February 2010. Originally a full time team member, Lisa recently returned to work part time after having her second daughter.

Tamara

Tamara received her Diploma in Dental Hygiene from the University of  Manitoba in 2009.  She gained experience working with a number of dental offices before taking time off to travel across Europe.  After she returned in 2011, she joined Whyte Ridge Dental Centre as a Registered Dental Hygienist with additional training in local anaesthetics.  On the weekends she enjoys going to the cottage and spending time with her family.

Darlene

Darlene is a part time receptionist at Whyte Ridge Dental Centre with over 30 years of experience in the field.  She has two grown children and enjoys cooking, bike riding, gardening and reading.  She also loves spending time with her two cats and a very special German Shepherd.
